2LB closed-cell spray foam insulation is proven to be an excellent air barrier, is impervious to moisture, and is an effective vapour barrier. Because of its density and stickiness, it also adds structural strength to walls, ceilings, or roofs.

 

Closed-cell spray foam insulation is much denser than open-cell. Its cell structure is smaller and more compact which makes closed-cell spray foam insulation a very good air barrier as well as a water vapour barrier. While it is often used in roofing projects or other outdoor applications, it can be used anywhere in the home as well.

2 lb spray foam density: 35 kg/m3 (2.19 lb/ft³)
